About The Position

DPP is seeking a Senior Workstation/Server Administrator for an opportunity with our client in the healthcare insurance industry. The End User Services Package Deployment & Remediation Team plays a critical role in maintaining a secure, reliable, and up-to-date technology environment across the enterprise. As one of five teams within End User Services, this group serves as the primary execution arm for large-scale software deployments, vulnerability remediation, security patching, and application lifecycle management across more than 20,000 endpoints, including workstations and Citrix platforms. Comprised of 15 technical and analytical professionals organized across six specialized work areas, the team collaborates closely with Security, Infrastructure Services, Application Teams, and business stakeholders to develop, test, package, deploy, and support enterprise software solutions. Team members are responsible for delivering updates that meet stakeholder requirements while maintaining operational excellence in a complex and diverse environment. The team's work is essential to protecting enterprise systems, reducing security risk, maintaining regulatory compliance, and enabling employee productivity. Success in this environment requires strong technical aptitude, problem-solving skills, adaptability, collaboration, and a commitment to delivering results on enterprise scale.

Requirements

Solid understanding of Windows 11 OS architecture, application lifecycle, registry, services, and security constraints.
Demonstrated success delivering secure, scalable, and automated software deployment solutions through expertise in scripting, application packaging, endpoint management, and virtual application delivery platforms.
Strong proficiency in PowerShell scripting with demonstrated experience developing automation solutions for software deployment, system administration, endpoint management, and operational process improvement.
Proven experience administering one or more enterprise endpoint management platforms, including HCL BigFix, Microsoft Intune, or Microsoft Configuration Manager (SCCM/MECM). Experience with multiple platforms is strongly preferred.
Hands-on experience creating, modifying, troubleshooting, and maintaining MSI packages, transforms (MSTs), and silent installation solutions for enterprise software deployment.
Experience packaging, installing, configuring, publishing, and supporting applications delivered through Citrix XenApp or Omnissa virtual application environments.
Solid Experience supporting enterprise IT environments within a Help Desk or tiered break/fix support model, including diagnosing and resolving complex software issues, communicating effectively with customers, and collaborating across IT areas.
Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Information Technology or other job-related degree; OR 4 years of job-related work experience; OR 2 years of job-related experience plus an Associate’s degree in Computer Science, Information Technology or other job-related degree.
4 years of applicable workstation, server, and/or application support experience to include software and hardware troubleshooting.

Nice To Haves

Hands-on experience with Windows system administration, including Active Directory, Windows Server, Group Policy, and networking fundamentals.
Ability to support software deployment, endpoint management, user authentication, and troubleshooting within both physical workstation and virtual desktop environments.
Experience with Python or other programming languages to automate software packaging, testing, deployment, configuration, reporting, and system administration tasks within enterprise environments.
Hands-on experience using GitHub for source code management, including repository administration, branching, merging, pull requests, and version control best practices.
Experience using software packaging and deployment technologies such as Advanced Installer, InstallShield, PSADT, Wise Package Studio, AdminStudio, and MSI/MSIX packaging tools to develop, test, automate, and support enterprise software delivery solutions.
Excellent verbal and written communication skills, with strong documentation habits and the ability to clearly communicate technical concepts to both technical and non-technical audiences.
Demonstrate adaptability and a continuous learning mindset, with the ability to quickly adopt new tools, technologies, and processes as business needs evolve.
Strong troubleshooting and analytical skills, with the persistence to perform root cause analysis and drive issues through resolution.
Experience working within large-scale enterprise environments, balancing competing priorities, high visibility initiatives, and aggressive delivery timelines.
Proven ability to collaborate effectively with infrastructure engineers, application teams, security teams, project stakeholders, and business partners to achieve common objectives.
