Requirements

  • 8-15 years of experience in interior design or architecture with a focus on Workplace Interiors projects
  • Based in Washington, DC
  • A Bachelor's Degree (or higher) in Interior Design or Architecture
  • Strong design vision and ability to create concepts, finish palettes, and refined design aesthetic.
  • Technical expertise in code analysis (ADA/IBC, etc.), consultant coordination (hardware, architectural, MEP, lighting, structural, acoustic, security, etc.), with the ability to deliver creative, functional, and compliant design solutions
  • Proven ability to collaborate with multiple team members to develop refined and compelling design concepts, translating them into clear presentations and detailed design documentation
  • Expertise in crafting clear, high-quality construction document sets, with a focus on detailed coordination and high-end design
  • Demonstrated leadership and mentorship skills, with experience guiding junior designers through the entire design process, from concept development through construction administration
  • Extensive experience in construction administration for interior renovations and new developments in commercial interiors.
  • In-depth experience in space planning, FF&E specifications, and material selection
  • Advanced proficiency in Revit, Enscape, Photoshop, Bluebeam Studio, InDesign, and project management softwares, with excellent 3D modeling skills highly valued
  • Familiarity with construction administration platforms such as TonicDM, Newforma, PlanGrid, ProCore, Autodesk Build, and Kahua
  • Strong written and verbal communication skills in English
  • Valid work permit for the USA

  • NCIDQ certification or architectural licensure
  • LEED and/or WELL accreditation

Responsibilities

  • Create concepts, finish palettes, and refined design aesthetics.

  • Utilize advanced proficiency in Revit, Enscape, Photoshop, Bluebeam Studio, InDesign, and project management software.
  • Work with construction administration platforms such as TonicDM, Newforma, PlanGrid, ProCore, Autodesk Build, and Kahua.
  • Communicate effectively in English, both written and verbally.
