About The Position

The Workforce Enablement Advisor is a strategic advisor and practitioner responsible for equipping leaders and employees across the organization with the skills, knowledge, and capabilities needed to thrive in an AI-enabled environment. Working in close partnership with business leaders and AI Champions, this role designs and delivers enablement plans and learning experiences that build AI proficiency at every level of the organization. This is a high-impact, cross-functional role that sits at the intersection of learning & development, change management, and AI strategy. The Advisor will serve as a trusted consultant to functional and business unit leaders, helping them understand their team's enablement needs and crafting tailored approaches to upskilling and reskilling. As the organization's AI enablement footprint grows, this role will be pivotal in ensuring that learning is cohesive, measurable, and aligned to strategic priorities.

Requirements

  • Bachelor's or Master’s degree in a relevant field (Business, Organizational Development, Human Resources, Education, or similar)
  • 8+ years of progressive experience spanning some combination of learning & development, HR business partnering, organizational effectiveness, management consulting, or program management — with demonstrated ability to work across multiple disciplines; (6+ years with Master’s degree).
  • Hands-on familiarity with AI tools in a professional context; personal track record of experimenting with and adopting emerging technologies.
  • Deep AI expertise is not required, but intellectual curiosity and comfort operating in ambiguity are essential.
  • Experience designing and delivering learning programs for adult, professional audiences — including both structured curricula and informal/experiential approaches.
  • Background working directly with senior business leaders in an advisory or consulting capacity, with the credibility and communication skills to influence without authority.
  • Excellent communication and facilitation skills, with the ability to engage and influence stakeholders at all levels.
  • Comfortable working in ambiguous, fast-moving environments with the ability to prioritize effectively and manage multiple workstreams simultaneously.
  • Collaborative mindset with the ability to build trusted relationships across a distributed, cross-functional network.
  • Fluent written and oral communication in English.

Nice To Haves

  • Hands-on experience with AI tools (e.g., generative AI, automation platforms) and a genuine curiosity about the evolving AI landscape.
  • Prior experience in AI enablement, digital transformation, or technology adoption programs.
  • Familiarity with competency frameworks and skills taxonomies, particularly as they relate to digital or AI literacy.
  • Experience with learning management systems (LMS), content authoring tools, or learning experience platforms (LXP).
  • Knowledge of change management frameworks (e.g., Prosci, ADKAR) and their application in large-scale transformation efforts.

Responsibilities

  • Serve as a trusted advisor to business leaders and AI Champions across all functions, providing expert guidance on workforce enablement strategy and execution.
  • Conduct learning needs assessments by partnering with functional leaders to understand the specific enablement gaps, priorities, and constraints within their teams.
  • Develop and recommend bespoke enablement approaches tailored to the unique context of each business unit, balancing standardization with flexibility.
  • Advise on change management considerations when introducing new AI tools, workflows, and ways of working.
  • Design, build, and continuously improve structured learning pathways that guide employees through the organization's AI proficiency matrix, from foundational awareness to advanced application.
  • Curate and develop learning content including instructor-led training, e-learning modules, job aids, workshops, and experiential learning activities.
  • Partner with subject matter experts, AI Champions, and external vendors to ensure learning content is accurate, current, and impactful.
  • Establish assessment and credentialing mechanisms to track and validate employee progress through proficiency levels.
  • Provide hands-on guidance to managers and employees on how to approach upskilling initiatives, including goal-setting, learning planning, and progress tracking.
  • Support reskilling efforts for roles that are evolving significantly due to AI adoption, working with HR Business Partners and functional leaders to design transition pathways.
  • Identify high-priority upskilling opportunities across the organization and recommend where to concentrate enablement investment for maximum impact.
  • Facilitate a structured process to capture, synthesize, and disseminate learnings and enablement activities happening across business units.
  • Curate and maintain a repository of best practices, case studies, and enablement resources accessible to the AI Champions network and business leaders.
  • Host regular forums, retrospectives, or working sessions with AI Champions to surface what is working, identify gaps, and co-create solutions.
  • Develop and maintain dashboards or reporting mechanisms to track enablement activity, engagement, and outcomes across the organization.
  • Partner with the Communications team to design and execute enablement-related communication campaigns that drive awareness, participation, and engagement.
  • Develop messaging frameworks and communication plans that translate complex AI concepts into accessible, motivating language for diverse employee audiences.
  • Support the launch of new learning programs, tools, and resources through coordinated communication strategies across relevant channels.
  • Manage the end-to-end lifecycle of enablement programs including planning, execution, measurement, and iteration.
  • Track and report on key enablement metrics such as participation rates, proficiency progression, and business impact indicators.
  • Coordinate logistics for training events, workshops, and enablement activities across multiple business units and geographies.
