For more information, please visit THE.TEAM. We are seeking a Senior Workday HCM Analyst to join our Workday team within People Operations. In this role, you will serve as a subject matter expert and strategic partner for all things Workday - owning system optimization, leading complex initiatives, and driving scalable, systems-based solutions that enhance the employee experience. You’ll play a key role in shaping our Workday roadmap while ensuring operational excellence across the platform.

Requirements

  • You have deep, hands-on experience with Workday HCM in a fast-paced, high-growth environment, with strong knowledge across multiple modules.
  • You bring strong experience in Workday system configuration, including business process design, security, and data structures.
  • You stay current with Workday releases, new features, and industry trends, proactively applying this knowledge to improve system performance and user experience.
  • You have advanced analytical and problem-solving skills, with strong proficiency in Excel and reporting tools.
  • You understand the intersection of systems, people, and process—and can strategically align them to drive business outcomes.
  • You are a confident communicator who can translate complex technical concepts into clear, actionable insights for non-technical stakeholders.
  • You are highly curious, detail-oriented, and comfortable leading through ambiguity while driving solutions forward.
  • You take ownership, think proactively, and consistently look for ways to improve systems and processes.

Responsibilities

  • Own and manage core Workday HCM functionality (Core HCM, Absence, Benefits, Business Processes, Reporting, and Security), along with Recruiting, Learning, and US Payroll modules.
  • Configure, maintain, and optimize Workday system settings and business processes to ensure scalability, compliance, and alignment with evolving business needs.
  • Lead troubleshooting and resolution of complex Workday issues, providing guidance to junior team members and ensuring timely escalation where appropriate.
  • Act as a senior point of contact for stakeholders, delivering consultative support and ensuring effective, intuitive use of Workday across the business.
  • Partner with People Operations and cross-functional leaders to translate business needs into scalable system solutions and process improvements.
  • Drive the design, testing, and implementation of new Workday functionality, system enhancements, and releases in collaboration with global teams.
  • Own the development and governance of advanced reports, dashboards, and analytics that deliver actionable insights to the business.
  • Proactively monitor Workday releases and maintain up-to-date knowledge of industry best practices, recommending and leading enhancements that align with organizational goals.
  • Identify opportunities for automation, efficiency, and improved user experience, and lead initiatives to deliver measurable impact.
  • Mentor and support other team members, contributing to knowledge sharing and continuous improvement within the team.
