About The Position

This role serves as a technical expert for Workday HCM, encompassing all HCM modules, functionality, integrations, security, and reports. The position is part of the Platform Team, collaborating with the Workday Operations Director and other team members. The analyst will participate in local Workday user groups, stay updated on best practices and Workday trends, and maintain relevant Workday certifications.

Requirements

• Effective understanding of HR operations and payroll
• Experience in employee data management
• Proficiency with PC Windows-based software
• Knowledge of computer programming, logic, systems analytic and mathematical skills
• Proficiency in Workday HCM report writing (Workday Report Writer and Calculated Fields)
• Experience with designing and implementing ETL processes and the use of ETL tools
• Ability to work and coordinate with third parties on data-related inquiries
• Strong experience with interface, networking, and data warehousing technologies, as well as design, relational database technologies, and performance tuning
• Experience with Web Services and APIs (WSDL, SOAP, REST and WS standards)
• Strong technical experience with XML and Java
• Knowledge of Workday implementation tools (Enterprise Interface Builder (EIB), Workday Studio, Workday Report Writer, and iLoad)
• Understand basic database architecture, tables, functional interactions, and recognize and understand impacts to downstream systems
