Senior Womenswear Designer (wovens)
About The Position
A growing women's lifestyle brand is seeking a Senior Designer with Wovens experience. The Senior Designer will play a crucial role in supporting the Design Director across day-to-day tasks and seasonal projects. Responsibilities include conducting research to develop seasonal design concepts, gathering trends and vintage inspiration, curating mood boards, and refining sketches using Adobe Illustrator and Photoshop. Additionally, participation in fittings and compiling design data for Tech Packs is essential. Collaboration with various departments ensures timely project completion, while staying informed about sales dynamics and trends is paramount.
Requirements
- 7-10+ years of design and hand sketching experience specifically in wovens (soft wovens and hard wovens)
- Bachelor's Degree in Design or Fashion Design.
- Strong beautiful hand sketching capabilities
- Experience with fits, development, concepting and executive
- Proficiency in tech pack creation.
- Exceptional organizational skills and ability to multitask.
- Familiarity with contemporary and/or luxury women's fashion and market trends.
- Strong team player with the capacity to work independently.
- Proficient in Adobe Illustrator and Photoshop.
