We are seeking a Senior Wireless / RF Engineer to support a Department of the Navy (DoN) customer at Indian Head, MD. The Senior Wireless / RF Engineer will lead the development of innovative wireless and RF technologies that power reliable, secure, and mission-critical communications.

Requirements

Active Top Secret Security Clearance, with the ability to obtain SCI
Master’s degree in Electrical Engineering, Computer Engineering, or related discipline
Minimum of 10 years of professional experience
Must meet DoD 8570/8140 IAT Level III baseline certification requirements by possessing at least one approved certification (e.g., CASP+, CISSP or Associate, CCNP Security, CISA, CCSP, GCED, or GCIH).

Ph.D. in Electrical Engineering, Computer Engineering, or related discipline
Demonstrated ability leading technical efforts, mentoring junior to mid-level engineering teams, and communicating effectively with customers and cross-functional stakeholders

Responsibilities

Lead the design, integration, and optimization of wireless and RF communication systems, ensuring solutions meet technical, operational, and performance requirements.
Develop and evaluate RF hardware and system architectures, performing modeling, simulation, testing, and troubleshooting to validate system performance and reliability.
Direct system verification and validation efforts by developing test strategies, analyzing results, and resolving complex technical issues using specialized RF test equipment.
Provide technical leadership through design reviews, engineering guidance, and mentorship while collaborating with cross-functional teams to deliver successful project outcomes.
Ensure RF system designs, installations, and engineering practices comply with applicable government regulations, industry standards, and organizational quality requirements.
