Requirements

  • Minimum of 8 years with BS/BA; Minimum of 6 years with MS/MA; Minimum of 3 years with PhD
  • Active SECRET security clearance
  • DoD 8570/8140 IAT Level II or III certification, such as: Security+ CE, CASP+, CISSP, CCNP Security
  • Hands‑on experience with patch management
  • Experience with DoD STIGs
  • Familiarity with PKI
  • Experience supporting multi‑domain or cross‑forest environments
  • Strong PowerShell scripting skills

Responsibilities

  • Maintain smooth operation of multi‑user computer systems and coordinate with network engineers
  • Monitor and manage system resources such as CPU usage, disk usage, and response times to ensure operating efficiency
  • Perform system security administration, including creating and managing user profiles and accounts
  • Set up administrator accounts and maintain system documentation
  • Tune system performance and install system‑wide software
  • Allocate and manage mass storage resources
  • Interact with users to address needs and evaluate vendor products
  • Recommend hardware and software purchases, coordinate installations, and provide backup and recovery support
  • Develop and monitor policies and standards for allocating and using computing resources
  • Ability to lead junior administrators and mentor technical staff
  • Strong communication skills for interacting with government customers and vendors
