About The Position

Watlow is hiring a Senior Welder at its Hannibal, Missouri facility. The role fabricates and joins metal parts using MIG, TIG, plasma, and other welding and cutting equipment, while meeting safety, quality, and production standards. The position suits a welder who values precision, craftsmanship, and dependable results.

Requirements

• Welding certificate or welding-related work experience of 3–5 years.
• Ability to read and understand measurements on a tape measure.
• Ability to sit or stand for prolonged periods.
• High school diploma, GED certificate, or equivalent preferred.

Responsibilities

• Prepare materials and parts for welding according to specifications.
• Set up and operate equipment to cut, stamp, bend, and form metal parts and materials for welding.
• Perform welding operations using spot, PAW, MIG, and TIG welders to join parts, vessels, enclosures, and other items.
• Use CNC plasma cutters and other electronically controlled welders to cut and weld materials and parts.
• Test completed products for welding reliability and completeness; clean, re-weld, grind, and finish welds as needed.
• Clean and perform preventive maintenance on welding and preparation equipment as needed.
