About The Position

UDR is seeking qualified candidates for a Senior Web Application Analyst opportunity in Charleston, Virginia. This role involves performing data modeling, relational database design, and system analysis to troubleshoot or enhance application performance. The analyst will partner with project managers, database administrators, and business units to translate operational requirements into functional code. Additionally, the role includes creating test plans, executing deployments, and managing application documentation or version control.

Requirements

  • Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, or a related field.
  • 3 to 5+ years of dedicated web development and relational database experience.
  • Proficiency in ASP.NET, MVC, JavaScript, SQL, and collaboration tools like SharePoint or Git
  • A minimum of five (5) years of .Net development experience with dynamic database driven enterprise level web applications.
  • A minimum of five (5) years of experience in web development using ASP.Net, AJAX, Visual Studio (version 2008 or higher), .NET framework 2.0+, JavaScript and C#.
  • A minimum of five (5) years of Relational Database experience.
  • A minimum of five (5) years Data Design/Data Modeling experience.
  • A minimum of five (5) years of Analysis and Design experience.
  • A minimum of three (3) years of experience using ASP.Net MVC, WCF, jQuery and jQuery UI
  • A minimum of two (2) years of experience using a client side MVVM architectural model for building web applications.
  • A minimum of two (2) years of experience with designing and developing applications using SOAP/ REST Web Services.
  • A minimum of two (2) years of experience with Microsoft SharePoint Services/Server and Team Foundation Server (TFS) for team collaboration.
  • Excellent communications skills (both verbal and written) to communicate with various stakeholders including, but not limited to, project managers, business analysts, database administrators and application analysts as well as business policy staff and workers.
