About The Position

Bluerock Wealth Management, part of the Hightower network, is a financial advisory practice focused on providing reliable, thoughtful, and straightforward advice through a collaborative, ensemble approach. This fiduciary, fee-only practice offers comprehensive wealth management services including investing, financial planning, and tax mitigation, utilizing a holistic, data-driven, and inclusive methodology. The Senior Wealth Advisor (SWM) is a key team member responsible for delivering value to clients and supporting the firm's mission. Requirements

  • Bachelor’s Degree in finance or accounting.
  • 7+ years in a client-facing role.
  • CFP®, CPA or CFA designation required.
  • Detailed knowledge of tax knowledge is required.
  • Detailed knowledge of complex estate planning concepts and implementation.
  • Familiarity with working with small business owners and physicians.
  • Knowledge of Salesforce, Black Diamond, BNA, eMoney, Fidelity and Schwab platforms.
  • Ability to build trust with existing and new clients.
  • Must be a U.S. citizen, U.S. permanent resident or possess other unrestricted U.S. work authorization and will not require sponsorship for U.S. work authorization now or anytime in the future.

Responsibilities

  • Serve as a primary resource for clients on investments, tax planning, estate planning, insurance, education, and retirement planning.
  • Conduct in-depth reviews for clients and prospective clients.
  • Develop financial plans and strategies.
  • Facilitate meetings with clients and potential clients.
  • Identify opportunities or pitfalls in a client’s financial picture.
  • Stay informed about financial planning trends, including economic, legal, investment, and market developments affecting affluent clients.
  • Collaborate with operations, planning, and investment teams to implement best practices.
  • Work with CPAs, attorneys, and other Centers of Influence to meet client goals.
  • Assist partners with business development, including closing leads and increasing client wallet share.
