About The Position

SEH is currently searching for a Senior Water Resources Engineer to join our talented Water Resources team! In collaboration with a talented team of engineering professionals, manage and deliver a wide variety of water resources projects including sediment transport, flood risk management, and dam safety. Build and maintain strong relationships with SEH clients while mentoring and growing internal staff. This opportunity is open to candidates residing in the state of Minnesota or surrounding areas. Requirements

• Bachelor’s Degree in Civil Engineering, Environmental Engineering, or related field
• Licensed Professional Engineer in the United States with the ability to obtain licensure in the state of Minnesota
• Demonstrated previous experience with open channel hydraulics modeling
• Knowledge of hydrologic and hydraulic modeling software such as HEC-RAS, HEC-HMS, InfoWorks ICM, or PCSWMM
• Ability to travel as needed for team meetings, client consultations, on-site inspections/visits, etc.; Occasional overnight travel will be required.
• The selected candidate must be authorized to work for any employer in the U.S. without requiring visa sponsorship now or in the future.

Nice To Haves

• Experience in dam and levee design, engineering, and construction
• Experience in 2D Hydraulic models
• CFD Modeling experience
• Experience working with a team of drainage engineers, civil engineers and highway designers to deliver large transportation projects
• Experience and interested in supervising and mentoring other engineers and team members
• Excellent written and oral communication skills
