About The Position
We are seeking an experienced Wastewater Process Engineer to lead the design and delivery of municipal wastewater treatment projects.
Requirements
- Bachelor’s degree in Civil, Environmental, or Chemical Engineering
- Professional Engineer (PE) license required
- Experience in municipal wastewater treatment and production of contract drawings/specifications
- Strong design, analytical, problem-solving, and project management skills
- Ability to manage multiple projects and competing deadlines
- Strong communication and client-facing skills
Nice To Haves
- Experience with contract/construction management and industrial wastewater is a plus
- DBIA and/or PMP certification is a plus
Responsibilities
- Lead projects from proposal through final deliverables
- Develop wastewater treatment concepts, designs, calculations, and specifications
- Design and size biological treatment systems, process piping, and pumps
- Develop contract drawings, specifications, and project manuals
- Coordinate with Project Managers, Designers, Owners, and Clients
- Make independent technical design decisions
- Manage multiple design and construction schedules
- Perform QC and PE reviews of engineering deliverables
- Provide guidance and markups to Designers
