About The Position

The Sr Warehouse Fulfillment Supervisor position is available at our Houston, TX warehouse. This position will lead a team of direct reports and temporary associates to meet business needs in a fast-paced, quality-oriented environment. The role is responsible for achieving production goals and motivating employees while building a strong team. Schedule: Monday through Friday from 7:00am to 3:30pm – schedule will be adjusted based on business needs.

Requirements

Four years previous supervisory experience in warehouse of light industrial environment required.
Individual who has the ability to build a strong team with direct hires and temporary associates is imperative.
Must be detail oriented; possess good communication skills, (written & oral), and good math skills.
Candidate must possess good organizational skills and ability to manage multiple tasks.
Must be mechanically adept and be able to work quickly and accurately.
Proficient in Microsoft Word & Excel.
Ability to work legally in the United States.

Nice To Haves

Previous experience with a Warehouse Management System is preferred.
This role could require travel for training and development.
Ability to communicate in Spanish is preferred, but not required.
Have a proactive and self-motivated work style.
Enjoy working independently with strong attention to detail.
Willing to submit to a background check.

Responsibilities

Ability to supervise and coordinate activities of workers engaged in the movement and storage of materials, the picking and packing of materials, and collation of materials.
Interprets specifications of jobs and projects, develops optimal production line(s) or processes, and explains to Supervisors and Team Leaders.
Responsible for achieving production goals and ensuring quality of products being shipped.
Suggests and may implement improvements to the work environment to improve efficiency, safety and productivity.
Develop a strong team by mentoring and coaching.
Works directly with Sr. Team Lead responsible for 2nd shift operations and material handlers.
Administrate corporate policy consistently and follow appropriate disciplinary actions as necessary.
Approve time in payroll system.
Works with Site Director on higher level tasks and projects as needed.
