This role involves designing and implementing multi-million dollar automation solutions across their national distribution network, impacting next-generation warehouse automation systems, robotics and AI integration, smart distribution technologies, industry-leading technology adoption, and the future of furniture distribution.

Requirements

  • Bachelor's Degree in Engineering (Mechanical, Electrical, Industrial, Robotics, or related field)
  • 5+ years of hands-on experience in warehouse automation, material handling systems, or industrial automation
  • Proven track record leading large-scale automation projects from design through implementation
  • Experience with robotics integration, controls programming, and system commissioning
  • Proficiency with automation design software (AutoCAD, Solidworks, or similar)
  • Strong understanding of control systems (PLCs, robotics controllers, SCADA)
  • Experience with Warehouse Management Systems (WMS) and Warehouse Control Systems (WCS)
  • Knowledge of AI/ML applications in logistics and automation
  • Familiarity with safety standards and compliance requirements
  • Strategic thinking with ability to translate business needs into technical solutions
  • Excellent project management and organizational skills
  • Strong analytical and problem-solving abilities
  • Effective communication with technical and non-technical stakeholders

  • Drive technology selection and evaluation processes.
  • Optimize ROI through data-driven decision making and performance analysis.
  • Automate repetitive tasks and streamline operational workflows.
