About The Position

The Senior Warehouse Associate supports Cencora’s U.S. distribution services, which operate through its AmerisourceBergen business. The role handles inbound, outbound, and internal warehouse activities to support accurate product movement and effective order fulfillment. It also prepares shipments and staging areas, maintains inventory integrity, monitors stock and workflow, investigates operational exceptions, and documents shipment and inventory activity.

Requirements

• High school diploma/GED or equivalent experience.
• At least 3 years of experience in warehouse support, distribution operations, shipping, receiving, inventory control, material handling, or a related field.
• Knowledge of warehouse operations, including receiving, storage, picking, packing, shipping, and returns.
• Knowledge of inventory control principles, stock reconciliation, and transaction accuracy.
• Knowledge of shipment preparation, product handling, and storage condition requirements.
• Knowledge of warehouse documentation, record maintenance, and operational reporting.
• Knowledge of safety, loss prevention, and warehouse control practices.
• Ability to accurately review and verify inventory, shipment, and operational data.
• Ability to identify, investigate, and resolve routine and moderately complex operational issues.
• Ability to communicate clearly with internal stakeholders about shipment status, stock issues, and operational requirements.
• Ability to organize work across shifting priorities and variable workload demands.
• Ability to support process consistency and continuous improvement in warehouse operations.

Nice To Haves

• Certified Supply Chain Professional (CSCP) certification or equivalent certification.

Responsibilities

• Investigate damaged shipments, handling issues, and process exceptions to determine causes and support timely resolution.
• Document shipment status, inventory updates, and operational exceptions to maintain accurate warehouse visibility.
