About The Position

Provide operational support for our VMware environments. This role involves supporting our VMware-based virtual infrastructure, including private and hybrid Cloud infrastructure, and VDI environment. The position requires using scripting skills to develop Cloud templates, view templates, and management infrastructure, as well as clearly documenting operational procedures. The individual will be an active member of the operations team.

Requirements

• BS degree in an IT-related field or equivalent experience.
• At least 4 years’ experience with VMWare View, ESXi, vCenter, and scripting languages (e.g. PowerShell or Visual Basic); this will include writing custom scripts to assist with automating daily tasks.
• Strong analytical, troubleshooting, organizational and problem solving skills.
• Self-motivated and able to work in a team environment with the ability to interface with all levels of staff.
• Strong written and presentation skills which will be used to document analysis and to deliver technical presentations.

Nice To Haves

• Experience with vCAV and vCO is desired.
