  • Measure and track key optical performance metrics, such as sharpness/MTF, distortion, uniformity, etc
  • Run objective image quality measurements and scorecards, such as noise/SNR, dynamic range, color accuracy (ΔE), white-balance stability, etc
  • Set up, calibrate, and maintain lab equipment and fixtures (targets/charts, lighting and illumination rigs, integrating spheres/diffusers as applicable, positioning stages, and camera mounts) to ensure repeatability measurement.
  • Capture and organize datasets (raw/processed video) with complete metadata (illumination, working distance, settings, firmware/build version, unit ID) to enable tuning iteration and regression comparison.
  • Support building an automated test setup for optical and objective IQ validation to enable scalable regression testing.
  • Perform image quality regression testing on released software/firmware builds by re-running standardized objective test suites, comparing results to baselines, and flagging deltas for triage before and after releases.
