About The Position

Invivyd, Inc. is dedicated to protecting immunocompromised individuals from serious viral infectious diseases, starting with SARS-CoV-2. The company utilizes a proprietary integrated technology platform to develop best-in-class antibodies. Invivyd has received emergency use authorization (EUA) from the U.S. FDA for a monoclonal antibody and has an ongoing clinical program for a vaccine alternative monoclonal antibody. The company is seeking experienced and driven Senior Virology Care Specialists who are passionate, persistent, and eager to help patients by developing strong relationships with healthcare providers, facilitating clinical dialogue, managing their territory with a business owner mindset, delivering compelling product presentations, and collaborating cross-functionally. The role requires operating with an enterprise mindset to gather and share customer insights and utilizing a data-driven approach to maximize selling engagements.

Requirements

Bachelor’s degree required
Sales experience in life sciences or healthcare or a related field is required
5+ years of experience in sales in biotech, pharmaceuticals or medical device customer-facing roles is required
Candidates must live within the stated territory
Able to fulfill requirement to be in the field five days a week, including overnights as required, conducting visits, while also completing all administrative tasks related to the role
Ability to drive and/or fly within the territory, as required
Proven winning attitude with a growth mindset
Strong communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to build relationships and engage in meaningful conversations with healthcare providers
Coachable and eager to learn - open to feedback, willing to adapt, and motivated to grow into a high-performing sales professional

Responsibilities

Develop strong, compliant relationships across a broad range of health care providers (HCPs) across multiple specialties and account types (IDNs, health systems and community clinics) by understanding their needs and sharing accurate, balanced information about Invivyd’s products and solutions
Facilitate clinical dialogue that compels the customer to act on behalf of their patients and engage the entire account to understand any obstacles that exist to provide appropriate solutions
Identify shared priorities and leverage knowledge and tactics within full account to develop a territory business plan that drives product demand by meeting the needs of key partners and ultimately their patients to drive superior results
Utilize your understanding of the broader healthcare landscape for account selling, including provider offices and health systems, and how decisions are made across these settings
Manage your territory with a business owner mindset with accountability, energy, and drive by owning the outcome of your results with a sense of urgency while staying compliant with company policies and industry regulations
Deliver compelling product presentations and educational discussions to support patient care decisions by utilizing all approved resources in line with company training and compliance requirements
Collaborate as a positive energy multiplier cross-functionally with colleagues in marketing, market access, and other teams to support customer needs and win together
Operate with an enterprise mindset to gather and share customer insights, feedback, and questions to help Invivyd continuously improve how we serve providers and patients
Collaborate with cross-functional partners on overall account and territory strategy to maximize internal/external knowledge on how to access products and services
Aggregate customer, market data, and insights to effectively apply multiple channels to drive total selling engagements
Utilize data driven approach to prioritize customers/accounts to maximize impact aligned to strategic plan
