Senior Vice President, POM Product Management
About The Position
We’re seeking a future team member for the role of Senior Vice President, POM Product Management to join our Product Management team. This role is located in Jersey City. In this role, you’ll make an impact by contributing to product development and strategy for moderately-sized product of limited complexity or small, non-complex products with limited guidance. You will support more experienced colleagues with relevant competitive, market and financial analysis to gain breadth of knowledge in relevant platforms, products and services. You will analyze market trends and client feedback to identify opportunities for product innovation and growth. You will drive the development of key products and solutions with significant impact, serving as a thought leader and expert within the product management team and across the organization. You will ensure compliance with regulatory requirements and internal policies by maintaining robust product governance and risk management practices. You will have the ability to lead complex and strategically important product initiatives. You will develop and maintain strong relationships with clients and industry partners to promote product adoption and client satisfaction. You will provide thought leadership and guidance on product management best practices to support the development of the product management function. You will develop and execute a product roadmap that aligns with business objectives, prioritize initiatives, set goals, and create evaluation criteria to ensure successful delivery. You will influence product direction at a strategic level, often working on products that are critical to the business or are highly innovative. You will write unambiguous user stories for development teams and create artifacts for stakeholders, documenting requirements, risks, and decisions along the way. You will ensure end-to-end completion of features, from backend systems to the user interface, enabling iterative testing and feedback.
Requirements
- Bachelor’s degree in Business, Finance, Engineering, or a related field.
- 8-10+ years of product management with experience creating strategic product roadmaps and working with cross-functional teams in a highly-matrixed environment
- Strong strategic thinking and analytical skills to drive product innovation and market competitiveness.
- Deep knowledge and experience in agile methodologies, experience working with multiple scrum teams on simultaneous builds.
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills to effectively collaborate with diverse teams and stakeholders.
- Proficient in product lifecycle management and governance to ensure compliance and risk mitigation.
