About The Position

This senior leadership position is designed to support scalable organizational growth through optimized delivery models, enterprise-wide quality systems, and operational efficiency improvements. The role focuses on industrializing and continuously improving the delivery model to increase implementation capacity, margin performance, and customer satisfaction. This role will be in partnership with the VP of Project Management to develop joint KPIs and enforcement mechanisms. These roles should work in tandem, one complementing the other to achieve the goals described herein. The Senior Vice President, Operations will own the design, optimization, and continuous improvement of the organization's end-to-end delivery model across all portfolios and product lines in partnership with cross-departmental leaders. This role facilitates a trust-based culture that leads to profitable and accountable enterprise-wide delivery performance, development of key personnel, quality systems, operational efficiency, and building the organizational scale required to support aggressive growth targets. The role requires working cross-functionally with Engineering, Product, Business Development, Pricing & Proposals, Customer Success, ITS/ITIG, Systems Engineering, and the Project Management Office to remove friction, build trust, standardize execution, and scale delivery capability.

Requirements

  • 15+ years of progressive leadership experience in delivery operations, program management, or operations management
  • Proven track record of scaling delivery organizations and implementing operational excellence frameworks
  • Experience managing enterprise-wide delivery portfolios with revenue responsibility exceeding $50M annually
  • Demonstrated success in improving margin performance and operational efficiency at scale
  • Background in technology implementation, software delivery, or complex systems integration
  • Expert knowledge of delivery methodologies, project management frameworks, and quality management systems
  • Strong financial acumen with experience in portfolio financial management, earned value management, and margin optimization
  • Proven ability to design and implement cross-functional processes across Sales, Engineering, Delivery, and Support organizations
  • Exceptional executive communication skills with experience managing C-level stakeholder relationships
  • Strategic thinking combined with operational execution capability
  • Change management expertise and ability to drive organizational transformation
  • Bachelor's degree in Engineering, Business, or related field required

  • Master's degree in Business Administration, Engineering Management, or related discipline preferred
  • PMP, PgMP, PfMP, or equivalent program management certification preferred

Responsibilities

  • Design, implement, and continuously improve the enterprise delivery model for all products and portfolios, ensuring alignment with evolving business strategies, client, and internal department needs.
  • Optimize cross-functional processes, including seamless transitions from Sales to Delivery, effective coordination between Engineering and Project Management, robust commissioning protocols, and smooth Customer Success handoffs – with a focus on continuous improvement that is ongoing.
  • Create deployment playbooks for repeatable implementation patterns across product families.
  • Optimize and further streamline the existing Fast Track Program and educate departments cross-functionally.
  • Partner with the Proposal Team, Systems Engineering, and Project Management to develop standard proposal library content to facilitate the Fast Track Program, lower labor costs, faster deployment timeline, streamlined process to deploy, and mitigate new documentation/scope control.
  • Optimize and streamline both the MAIOR Deployment Process in NA and Communication with MAIOR Italy. The goal is to increase profitability, trust, and execution across all NA departments.
  • Drive portfolio-level delivery performance by overseeing and enforcing policy/metrics, profitability, strategic client executive relationships (as assigned by the EVP of Technical Solution Implementation) in partnership with Business Development, quality assurance, and shared departmental KPIs.
  • Continuously review and refine delivery cost drivers throughout the project lifecycle, identifying new sources of inefficiency and correcting them. At the same time, testing, validating, and implementing proven targeted optimization initiatives.
  • Partner with Production and Purchasing to optimize vendor and subcontractor management frameworks by benchmarking costs, renegotiating contracts based on performance metrics, and fostering strategic partnerships. This process will also support the continuous improvement and incentives provided to the market for the scopes of work/Fast Track Projects.
