About The Position

Working in close partnership with the CEO and CFO, the Senior Vice President of Investor Relations (SVP, IR) is responsible for developing and leading the company’s global investor relations strategy. This role acts as the primary interface between the company and the investment community, ensuring clear, consistent, and credible communication of the company’s strategy, financial performance, and long-term value creation. The SVP, IR partners closely with Finance, Corporate Communications, Legal, and the Executive Team to support public company obligations (as applicable), strengthen investor confidence, and proactively shape the company’s market narrative. This position is open to candidates across the United States with a preference for candidates in the Seattle area. You will have a hybrid remote/in-office schedule where you will work from our casual, pet-friendly office at least 3 days a week.

Requirements

  • 10+ years of experience in investor relations, equity research, investment banking, corporate finance, or related fields.
  • Bachelor’s degree in Finance, Business, Economics, Communications, or a related field required
  • Strong understanding of capital markets, financial statements, valuation, and investor expectations.
  • Highly effective communicator and storyteller
  • Exceptional written and verbal communication skills.
  • Executive presence and comfort engaging with senior leaders, Board members, and institutional investors.
  • High judgment and discretion in handling confidential, market-sensitive information.
  • Travel required up to approximately 20% of the time for investor meetings, conferences, roadshows, and other external engagements.
  • Strategic thinker with strong business acumen.
  • Collaborative leader who builds credibility across functions.
  • Effective under pressure during earnings cycles and periods of market volatility.

Responsibilities

  • Develop and execute a comprehensive investor relations strategy aligned with corporate strategy and financial objectives.
  • Lead the company’s narrative with the investment community – bring our story to life in a way that is clear, differentiated and easy to understand
  • Articulate the company’s long-term vision, strategy, and performance to current and prospective investors and analysts.
  • Monitor investor sentiment, market trends, peer performance, and valuation dynamics; provide insights and recommendations to the CEO and CFO.
  • Serve as the primary point of contact for investors and sell-side analysts.
  • Lead preparation for and participation in earnings calls, investor days, roadshows, conferences, and one-on-one investor meetings.
  • Build and maintain strong, trusted relationships with institutional investors and the broader financial community.
  • Support shareholder engagement on environmental, social, and governance (ESG) matters, including coordinating investor outreach, responding to stakeholder inquiries, and helping communicate the company’s governance and sustainability priorities.
  • Partner with Finance to develop earnings materials, investor presentations, and shareholder communications.
  • Translate complex financial and operational results into clear, compelling investor messaging.
  • Ensure consistency between external communications, internal strategy, and reported financial results.
  • Collaborate with Legal, Finance, and Corporate Communications to ensure compliance with disclosure requirements and regulatory obligations.
  • Oversee investor-related sections of public disclosures, including earnings releases and annual reports.
  • Oversee the company’s climate-related and other ESG disclosure processes, partnering cross-functionally to support accurate, timely, and evolving regulatory and stakeholder reporting requirements.
  • Manage corporate governance and corporate social responsibility reporting, including coordination of annual governance disclosures, sustainability reporting, and related stakeholder communications.
  • Lead and develop the Investor Relations function and manage external advisors as applicable.
  • Act as a strategic partner to Corporate Communications to ensure messaging alignment.
  • Provide investor-focused insights to inform leadership decision-making.
