About The Position

Blackstone Credit & Insurance (BXCI) is a leading credit investor with a broad range of investments across the credit markets. The BXCI Investment Operations team is seeking a Senior Vice President to focus on the operational oversight and management of private credit funds. This role involves close collaboration with internal and external stakeholders to ensure the accuracy of the fund's Investment Book of Record (IBOR) with a high standard of care. The position requires managing client and internal stakeholder expectations, coordinating new product/fund launches, overseeing daily fund operations, leading the period-end close process, and working with technology teams to automate and streamline workflows. The successful candidate will also serve as the senior escalation point for fund-related issues and monitor the new product and deal pipelines.

Requirements

  • Bachelor's/University degree or equivalent experience
  • 12+ years of related experience
  • Advanced understanding of private credit and agency function is preferred
  • Strong attention to detail and highly organized
  • Strong work ethic
  • Results oriented, deadline driven and resourceful; thrives in a dynamic environment
  • Independent worker / self-starter
  • Advanced Proficiency in MS Office (Excel, Word)
  • Strong Excel skills preferred

Responsibilities

  • Manage client and internal stakeholder expectations prior to fund launches/investments.
  • Coordinate with clients, portfolio managers, deal teams, Finance, Legal & Compliance and others to ensure smooth and successful new product/fund launches, including onboarding and integration with service providers.
  • Daily management of the funds to ensure internal and external SLAs are being met.
  • Manage a variety of fund structures (BDCs, Drawdown / Commingled Funds, Fund of One / Many, SMAs etc.) leveraging teams located across multiple regions globally.
  • Lead the period end close process, collaborating with GFF (Global Fund Finance), Product Control, Reporting, Compliance, and service providers.
  • Work with Technology to develop, automate, and streamline workflows.
  • Collaborate with internal and external stakeholders to design and scope new reporting needs, and work closely with Technology to build the required reporting infrastructure.
  • Serve as the senior escalation point for all matters within the fund vertical, addressing and resolving issues as they arise.
  • Monitor the new product pipeline and deal pipelines, staying informed about upcoming projects and potential opportunities.
