We’re seeking a future team member for the role of Sr. Vice President, Fund/Client Accounting Manager to join our Client Activation Team. This role is located in Lake Mary, Fl.
Requirements
- Bachelor’s degree in finance, Accounting, IT or Engineering field, or the equivalent combination of education and experience is required.
- 10 plus years of experience in investment management and/or the financial services industry.
- 2 plus years leadership experience is required
- Excellent multi-tasking and team leadership skills with the ability to thrive in a dynamic working environment.
- Experience using Eagle or Invest One or other Major accounting software products is required
Nice To Haves
- Knowledge of accounting processes and platform conversions is a plus.
- Agile training/certification is highly desired but not required
- some project management experience preferred.
- Advanced/graduate degree is a plus
Responsibilities
- Ability to think strategically about market segments, geographies and client challenges and integrate insights into concrete aspects of the client relationship and onboarding.
- Excellent interpersonal skills, with ability to build trust and forge good working relationships with business collaborators
- Solid understanding of daily accounting systems processing, workflow architecture, automation, and information delivery.
- Ability to translate product specifications, define testing and deployment strategy and understanding of workflow orchestration are essential requirements for the role. Knowledge of accounting processes and platform conversions is a plus.
- Proven experience with process modelling and simulations, scenario developments and model office implementation and user acceptance testing.
- Agile training/certification is highly desired but not required, some project management experience preferred.
- Strong time management skills and the ability to work well under pressure with a track record of delivering against deadlines
