About The Position

This is a hybrid career opportunity for a Senior Vice President, Casualty Construction Broker within Aon's Construction & Infrastructure group. The role involves brokering and consulting for a diversified client base with insurance underwriters in casualty insurance. Requirements

  • Minimum 10+ years construction/infrastructure customer service and/or brokerage insurance experience.
  • Property and Casualty Brokers License is required.
  • Proficient in Microsoft Excel, Word, Outlook, and Power Point.
  • Adherence to Aon’s Business Code of Conduct.

Nice To Haves

  • Large complex project experience (OCIPs, CCIPs, JVs, Rolling CIPs) is preferred.
  • Develop proficiency in use of in-house account management systems.

Responsibilities

  • Develops and manages client relationships, account strategies, and insurance marketing activities.
  • Acts as a trusted advisor to clients in brokering, designing, selling, and servicing complex accounts.
  • Assists Owners/Contractors on large project opportunities, including RFPs.
  • Provides outstanding and timely service and support for customers, account executives, and originators.
  • Identifies and analyzes client exposures and ensures policy coverage addresses all such exposures.
  • Facilitates the compilation of submission information in conjunction with customers, account representatives, originators, and service center support.
  • Finalizes market submission and product design options to clients, relationship managers, and originators.
  • Reviews and analyzes quotes and binders to ensure appropriate coverage.
  • Maintains an in-depth understanding of the existing and prospective business within the construction segment.
  • Manages insurance carrier relations specific to construction.
  • Engages in bespoke broking and account reviews.
  • Retains and grows assigned clients/prospects.
  • Adheres to the highest standards of professionalism and ethical behavior and works well in a team environment.
  • Trains and mentors junior brokers.
  • Maintains a detailed understanding of the market dynamics within the segment.
