This role involves interacting with clients and prospects to gain trusted advisor status within the context of WWT's portfolio and value proposition. The engineer will create plans and strategies in collaboration with account and internal WWT teams to educate clients on WWT's OEM and Services portfolio within specific vertical markets. A key focus will be driving Gross Profit and Opportunities by proposing solution designs and architectures, and leveraging the Advanced Technology Center (ATC) Lab Engagements and AI Proving Ground as catalysts for business and mindshare. The role also includes owning critical OEM engagements, positioning WWT's value in AI, Cyber, and Software, and building trust through regular interactions with IT, LOB, Security, and other key client resources. The engineer will work within a team to drive Services, including Strategic Resources (SR) and WWT's portfolio, to complement products and software and differentiate WWT's value. Coordination of all necessary WWT resources and stakeholders, including Global Services & Advanced Solutions (GS&A), Solution, Consulting & Engineering (SC&E), Services, Sales, and Executives, is crucial for driving campaigns and value to win large and strategic business. A personal development plan is required to stay current with vertical trends, technology, and use cases, with management reporting and assistance. The engineer will also create a body of work for reference and to educate clients and teams on client needs and how WWT fulfills them.
