About The Position

E Tech Group is seeking an experienced Senior Validation Engineer for Life Sciences projects. The role leads or contributes to detailed hardware and software design of process automation control systems. Work includes defining architecture requirements, developing test protocols and software and functional design specifications, creating SAT/FAT documentation, and contributing to overall control system design. The engineer works with project teams and customers, manages project-related responsibilities independently, and maintains required documentation throughout project life cycles.

Requirements

• Bachelor of Science in Engineering or Computer Science, or equivalent educational background.
• At least 5 years of experience in engineering/control system documentation and change control.
• Collaboration and teamwork.

• General understanding of GAMP.

Responsibilities

• Review and understand project scope, approach, and design.
• Review documentation and validation requirements with the project team.
• Develop project documentation, including design documents and test protocols.
• Review documentation developed by peer engineers.
• Maintain documentation throughout project life cycles and maintain schedules for required project documentation.
• Identify and define out-of-scope items.
• Collaborate regularly with customers and maintain a comprehensive understanding of their procedures, policies, equipment, and systems.
• Participate in required meetings and training.
• Assist with investigations.
• Read and understand electrical drawings and design documents.
• Develop protocols and review completed reports for Factory Acceptance Testing, Site Acceptance Testing, and qualification testing.
• Develop and maintain a quantitative approach for estimating documentation development hours.
• Independently manage project-related responsibilities.
