Senior UX/UI Designer

EverflowMontreal, QC
CA$95,000 - CA$110,000Hybrid

About The Position

We are seeking an autonomous, highly experienced Senior UX/UI Designer based in Montréal who thrives on owning complex product areas. We are a lean, fast-moving team where everyone executes. We need a seasoned designer who can grasp highly complex concepts quickly and manage a project independently from the initial blank canvas to the final pixel-perfect developer hand-off. You don't need a manager to tell you what the next step is; you have the maturity to look at a complex problem, figure out the strategy, and build the solution yourself.

Requirements

  • 6+ years of practical Product/UX design experience (A proven track record of launching features in a SaaS environment is highly preferred).
  • Deep expertise in information architecture, interaction design, and high-fidelity UI. You have the professional maturity to handle major product changes smoothly.
  • Advanced, expert-level mastery of Figma and FigJam. Comfortable working in an Agile environment (Jira).
  • An active curiosity for integrating AI tools to optimize your design workflow.
  • Exceptional ability to clearly explain the logic behind your design decisions to both technical and non-technical stakeholders.
  • Professional proficiency in both French and English (written and spoken).

Nice To Haves

  • A proven track record of launching features in a SaaS environment is highly preferred.

Responsibilities

  • Take total accountability for your features from A to Z—including user flows, wireframes, interactive prototyping, visual design, and final asset hand-off.
  • Translate highly technical, data-heavy, or ambiguous concepts into clear, logical, and elegant user workflows.
  • Independently manage your design timelines, collaborating directly with Product Managers and Developers to ship features without needing day-to-day oversight.
  • Use research and data to justify design choices, balancing ideal user experiences with technical constraints and tight shipping deadlines.
  • Build and maintain scalable components within our Figma Design System to keep your own work—and the team's work—consistent and efficient.

Benefits

  • Employer Covered Medical
  • Unlimited PTO and paid holidays
  • Paid parental leave for putting your family first
  • Startup-like environment, without the constant rush to raise the next round of funding
  • A very collaborative team and culture
  • Education, gym, and equipment stipend
