This Senior UX/UI Designer role is part of a high-impact R&D pod, tasked with challenging traditional development through a user-centered design process. The position requires a self-motivated, out-of-the-box thinker who can thrive in a fast-paced, ambiguous environment. The UX professional will drive product experience from research discovery to solution framing, delivering industry-leading business solutions. As a member of the R&D team, the designer will showcase innovative possibilities in a state-of-the-art innovation center, using AI platforms and visualization tools to refine features from ideation to implementation. The R&D team's goals include driving disruptive ideas, leveraging Agentic AI for design automation, enabling high-speed prototyping (POC to MVP), and continuous learning across various data, models, and technologies.

Requirements

5+ years of professional experience as a UI designer, interaction designer, or similar role.
BA/BS in graphic design, psychology, HCI, or a related field.
A strong online portfolio demonstrating past work, extensive data visualization, and user-centered design solutions is required.
Expert proficiency in Figma, Sketch, Miro, and Adobe XD.
Competent command of Adobe Photoshop and Illustrator.
Proficiency in UserZoom, Hotjar, Optimal Workshop, UXPin, Excel, SPSS, Python, and Google BigQuery.
Experience working with detailed data and analytics engines.
Knowledge of web technologies (HTML, CSS, JS) to guide interaction decisions.
Experience with Design Systems, atomic design methodology, and Accessibility/Inclusive design.
Excellent communication and presentation skills.
Ability to manage multiple complex projects simultaneously.
Ability to explain business needs to technical personnel.

Responsibilities

Collaborate with technical product managers and engineers to design experiences that drive revenue and enhance customer retention.
Build and maintain multiple prototypes, POCs, and MVPs while understanding how HTML, JavaScript, and CSS inform interaction decisions.
Integrate GenAI into production solutions and use AI tools to streamline the design-to-code pipeline.
Plan and implement user research strategies using qualitative and quantitative methodologies, including interviews and usability tests.
Create process flows, wireframes, interactive prototypes, illustrations, animations, and icons.
Serve as an SME for customer experience, coaching other designers and leading discussions on UX/UI standards.
