About The Position

VeSync is a growing company with brands in the health and wellness sector. They are looking for a Senior UX Researcher to lead research initiatives that will shape product strategy, inform design decisions, and enhance understanding of user needs across various product lines. This role involves conducting mixed-methods research from discovery to iterative testing to identify user motivations, pain points, and opportunities. The researcher will also be responsible for improving research operations by developing scalable systems, documentation, and a research repository. Collaboration with Product, Design, Engineering, and Marketing teams is essential to embed user empathy into strategy and foster a culture of continuous learning and evidence-based decision-making. A portfolio of work is required for applicants.

Requirements

  • Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in Human-Computer Interaction (HCI), Psychology, Anthropology, or a related field.
  • 5+ years of UX or product research experience, ideally in consumer tech, wearable, or health/wellness domains.
  • Proven success conducting end-to-end research from discovery through validation and post-launch evaluation.
  • Expertise in mixed methods research (interviews, usability testing, surveys, diary studies, fieldwork).
  • Strong synthesis, storytelling, and stakeholder communication skills.
  • Experience supporting beta programs in agile environments.
  • Must include a portfolio of their work when applying.

Nice To Haves

  • Proficiency with tools like UserTesting, Dovetail, Figma, Quantilope, or similar research/repository platforms.
  • Experience working with international or multilingual teams; communicates with empathy and clarity across time zones and cultures.
  • Comfortable with rapid, iterative product testing and evidence-driven experimentation.
  • Background or interest in health, wellness, or behavioral science.
  • Highly motivated, adaptable, and curious — thrives in dynamic, fast-paced environments.

Responsibilities

  • Lead end-to-end research, including planning, execution, and synthesis of foundational, generative, and evaluative research across multiple product lines.
  • Utilize mixed methods (qualitative and quantitative) to uncover user needs, motivations, and friction points.
  • Design studies to address key product risks such as value, usability, feasibility, and viability.
  • Translate findings into clear, actionable insights that guide strategic decisions and measurable outcomes.
  • Balance deep research with lean, iterative testing to support product agility and continuous learning.
  • Maintain and enhance the participant panel, consent workflows, and research documentation systems.
  • Develop reusable research frameworks, templates, and toolkits to improve research efficiency and consistency.
  • Evolve a research repository to promote knowledge sharing and long-term organizational learning.
  • Establish standards for insight tagging, storage, and discoverability to reduce duplication and scale research impact.
  • Partner with Product, Design, Engineering, and Marketing to define user-centered goals and success metrics.
  • Integrate research insights into product strategy and roadmap prioritization.
  • Present insights clearly to executive and cross-functional audiences, influencing both product and business direction.
  • Champion user empathy and a customer-centric culture across the organization.
