About The Position

We are looking for a Senior UX Designer to join a cross-functional team responsible for Helix, our design system, and the user experience across three SaaS products: Amino, Sonar, and Proline. This role covers the full range of UX practice. You will take on product design work alongside the team and bring a specialized focus on AI/UX, defining how our products communicate and behave when artificial intelligence is involved. AI/UX is your area of depth, not your only responsibility.

• Experience designing trust signals, confidence indicators, uncertainty communication, and progressive disclosure of AI reasoning
• Experience extending design systems with AI-specific components
• Experience with processing states, error handling, feedback loops, and explainability surfaces
• Experience partnering with product and engineering teams integrating AI features
• Experience establishing UX guardrails and reusable patterns
• Experience reviewing AI-driven features
• Experience tracking emerging AI UX research and translating findings into practical patterns

Responsibilities

• Own UX design work across Amino, Sonar, and Proline: flows, wireframes, interaction specs, and design reviews
• Collaborate with product managers and engineers to define and validate interaction decisions
• Participate in design critiques and contribute to design quality across the team
• Plan and support usability testing, prototype validation, and design feedback sessions to identify friction, validate assumptions, and improve product decisions
• Design interaction patterns for human-AI workflows: trust signals, confidence indicators, uncertainty communication, and progressive disclosure of AI reasoning
• Extend Helix with AI-specific components covering processing states, error handling, feedback loops, and explainability surfaces
• Partner with product and engineering teams integrating AI features to establish UX guardrails and reusable patterns
• Review AI-driven features across products and identify where the experience breaks down or erodes user trust
• Track emerging AI UX research and translate relevant findings into practical patterns for the team
