From creating user flows and wireframes to building mockups and prototypes, you will envision and bring product experiences to life with an inspired, refined, and magical feel. You will join our multi-disciplinary UX team, collaborating with Engineering and Product Management, leveraging user insights to create industry-leading products. As an Interaction Designer, you'll apply user-centered design methods to craft industry-leading user experiences from concept to execution, working with design partners to evolve the Google design language to build beautiful, innovative products. Join the Reader Revenue Manager (RRM) team, an entrepreneurial group within Search focused on empowering publishers and creators. As a UX Designer, you will design innovative monetization and engagement tools that help publishers grow their audience and transition to sustainable business models. You will work on high-impact projects like live plan editing, dynamic CTAs, and integrating user affinity signals to deepen personalization across Google surfaces like Search and Gemini. Requirements

  • Bachelor's degree or equivalent practical experience.
  • 6 years of interaction design experience in product design or user experience (UX) design.
  • Experience with information architecture and product strategy.
  • Experience designing for business-to-business (B2B) or enterprise systems, software as a service (SaaS), billing, or lifecycle management.
  • Experience with visual design.
  • Include a portfolio, website, or any other relevant link to your work in your resume (providing a viewable link or access instructions).

Nice To Haves

  • Master's degree in Design, Human-Computer Interaction, Computer Science, a related field, or equivalent practical experience.
  • 3 years of experience working in a cross-functional organization.
  • 2 years of experience leading design projects.
  • Experience working with publishers, content creators, or editorial products.
  • Experience creating products that balance the needs of user types (e.g., publishers and consumers).
  • Experience with systems thinking and deconstructing requirements into intelligence and user interfaces (UI).

Responsibilities

  • Collaborate with product leads, engineers, and designers throughout the product cycle to translate requirements into systems.
  • Partner with user experience research (UXR) to evaluate usability and trustworthiness, iterating on designs based on feedback and affinity signals.
  • Communicate design strategy and rationales to internal and external teams through storytelling and advocacy for the user experience.
  • Design and define the user experience for the Reader Revenue Manager suite, focusing on business generation and engagement features.
  • Create design deliverables, including user flows, wireframes, mocks, prototypes, and specifications.
