About The Position

Arcadis is looking for a Senior Utility Advisor with water engineering experience to join our Resilience Water Team in Columbus, Ohio! As a Senior Utility Advisor, you will utilize your expertise and technical knowledge in conveyance, treatment, planning and business advisory projects to successfully lead and execute projects and support project pursuits. In this role, you will have opportunities for advancement as you deliver projects, manage delivery teams, and build strong client relationships.

Requirements

Bachelor's Degree in Civil, Environmental, Mechanical, or Chemical Engineering (or a related field)
20 years of relevant engineering experience
Effective leadership skills with the ability to drive teams to a conclusion and demonstrated ability to develop relationships with clients and to win work
Sound technical knowledge in water planning, treatment, and distribution systems
Strong, clear, and concise written and oral communication skills.
Ability to develop and guide technical team members in their professional development goals

Nice To Haves

Professional Engineering (PE) license
Experience in municipal water/wastewater design and construction management

Responsibilities

Serving as the Project Director, leading projects from concept through completion.
Leading the planning, design, and construction of water treatment facilities, distribution systems, and pump/lift stations.
Building and maintaining strong client relationships by understanding needs, managing expectations, and delivering high-quality solutions.
Mentoring and leading project teams, fostering professional growth and ensuring technical excellence.
Contributing to business growth through proposal development, strategic partnerships, and positioning for future opportunities; travel as needed to support project delivery.
Maintain and build relationships with key and emerging clients, leveraging utility management experience.
Maintain visibility within industry organizations (e.g. AWWA).
