What You’ll Do & The Impact You’ll Make As a Senior Universal Banker, you’ll be the go‑to financial guide for members. You will:   Lead financial conversations with members to help them navigate everyday banking, major life decisions, and long‑term goals. Build relationships that create lifelong members through trust, empathy, and outstanding service. Provide expert support on accounts, loans, digital banking tools, and personalized financial solutions. Mentor and support Universal Bankers, helping elevate the member experience and team performance. Solve problems creatively, from helping a member improve their credit to guiding them through a big purchase or budget. Drive branch success through sales, service excellence, and smart decision‑making. Your impact matters. Every conversation could help someone buy their first home, improve their financial confidence, or finally breathe easier about money. Your work directly helps build stronger members and stronger communities.

Requirements

  • 2+ years of sales or customer service experience (or related higher education).
  • High school diploma or equivalent required.
  • Ability to obtain and maintain an NMLS number.
  • Strong communication and interpersonal skills that reflect Summit’s positive, member‑focused culture.
  • Adaptability and sound judgment to handle unique daily challenges within established guidelines.
  • Active listening skills and a commitment to fully understanding and resolving member needs.
  • Ability to build relationships and communicate proactively with members and non‑members.
  • High attention to detail, with consistent follow‑up and follow‑through.
  • Comfort using the Microsoft Office Suite and digital tools.
  • Basic math skills and readiness to learn more complex financial concepts.
