Senior Unified Endpoint Management Engineer
About The Position
The Senior Unified Endpoint Management Engineer leads the design, support, and continuous improvement of core client platform services in a Microsoft enterprise environment. The role owns complex endpoint engineering functions and serves as a senior technical resource for modern management, automation, compliance, and platform standardization. The engineer drives scalable endpoint standards and policies, improves endpoint lifecycle services, resolves high-impact technical issues, and develops automation. The role also mentors junior engineers, partners with architecture, infrastructure, security, and support leaders, and maintains engineering documentation and operational runbooks. It supports pilots, testing, and controlled rollouts of new Microsoft client technologies and services.
Requirements
- 5–8 years of experience in endpoint engineering or client platform administration.
- Deep hands-on experience with Intune, Autopilot, Entra ID, Group Policy, Windows security controls, and Microsoft 365 device management.
- Proven experience leading endpoint modernization, automation, or platform improvement initiatives.
- Strong experience with PowerShell, Microsoft Graph, and large-scale endpoint policy deployment.
- Experience with endpoint monitoring, performance optimization, and compliance remediation.
- Experience mentoring engineers and guiding technical standards.
- Strong expertise in modern endpoint management and Microsoft ecosystem tooling.
- Strong scripting and automation background.

Responsibilities
- Own and optimize major client platform capabilities such as Intune, Autopilot, endpoint compliance, software deployment, Group Policy/configuration management, or cloud endpoint management.
- Design and implement scalable endpoint standards, policies, and modern management solutions aligned with security and operational requirements.
- Lead complex troubleshooting and root cause analysis for recurring or high-impact Level 4 endpoint issues.
- Drive endpoint lifecycle improvements, including provisioning, patching, software delivery, performance monitoring, and device compliance.
- Develop automation using PowerShell, Microsoft Graph, and other Microsoft platform capabilities to reduce manual effort and improve consistency.
- Mentor junior engineers and provide technical guidance across the client platform team.
- Partner with architecture, infrastructure, security, and support leaders to implement strategic endpoint initiatives.
- Establish and maintain documentation, engineering standards, and operational runbooks.
- Support pilot programs, testing strategies, and controlled rollout plans for new Microsoft client technologies and services.
