Kipu is dedicated to improving the behavioral health landscape by assisting treatment centers in achieving optimal outcomes and supporting patients and caregivers throughout their recovery. The Senior UI/UX Designer is responsible for the entire design thinking process, from initial research and user insights to ideation, prototyping, validation, and refinement. This role focuses on transforming complex challenges into simple, intuitive, and trustworthy user experiences across all digital platforms. The designer will influence the visual appearance, user interaction, and overall behavior of Kipu's products, including the design of AI-powered features that build user confidence within the behavioral health sector. Key responsibilities include collaborating with Product Management, Engineering, and customers to translate business goals and user needs into functional, accessible, and HIPAA-compliant designs. This involves leading research analysis, developing concepts, creating visual mockups and interactive prototypes, and presenting designs from a user-centric perspective to stakeholders. The Senior UI/UX Designer will utilize AI tools to enhance design efficiency, apply responsible AI principles to intelligent features, work autonomously with general guidance, and ensure consistent adherence to usability and accessibility standards.
