About The Position

As a Senior UI/UX Artist, you will play a key role in defining and executing the visual and interactive experience of a new mobile game. You will be at the heart of creating immersive and intuitive interfaces directly tied to gameplay (grids, interactive elements, puzzle/match systems, exploration), not just menus. With strong artistic sensitivity and an excellent understanding of user experience, you will actively contribute to shaping the UI/UX artistic direction of the project. You will be responsible for transforming ideas into tangible experiences by rapidly iterating through prototypes and testing. This role is both strategic and hands-on, with a strong impact on visual identity, gameplay readability, and player engagement.

Requirements

  • 7 to 10 years of UI/UX experience in mobile gaming
  • Experience on casual and/or puzzle games (match-3, merge, grid-based systems)
  • Portfolio demonstrating interactive gameplay interfaces and strong visual sensibility
  • Proficiency in Unity (UI integration)
  • Strong mastery of Photoshop and/or equivalent graphic tools
  • Experience with Figma (wireframes, flows, prototyping)

Nice To Haves

  • Experience on licensed projects (a strong asset)
  • Knowledge of motion design / UI animation (a strong asset)
  • Strong artistic sensibility and ability to influence UI visual direction
  • Excellent understanding of UX challenges in free-to-play (understanding of IAP offer flows, mini-games, battle passes, reward sequences)
  • Ability to analyze market trends and translate them into concrete solutions
  • Iterative, rapid prototyping mindset
  • Artistic versatility and ability to work across different styles
  • Collaborative mindset and effective communication with multidisciplinary teams
  • Autonomy, rigor, and attention to detail
  • Comfort in a bilingual environment. Proficiency in both French and English to communicate effectively with bilingual teams is a strong asset

Responsibilities

  • Design gameplay-driven interfaces (grids, casual/puzzle systems, interactive elements, exploration)
  • Define smooth and intuitive user experiences tailored to casual/puzzle games
  • Create wireframes, user flows, and interactive prototypes
  • Contribute to the UI/UX artistic direction of the project and ensure visual consistency
  • Benchmark and analyze market visual trends to propose relevant and innovative styles
  • Identify and define strong visual identities suited to the product
  • Quickly transform concepts into testable prototypes
  • Work closely with Game Design, Product, and LiveOps teams
  • Adapt and refine interfaces based on player feedback and available data
  • Work closely with Design, Programming, Product, and Art teams
  • Participate in production decisions related to UX and gameplay readability
  • Integrate and optimize assets in Unity while respecting mobile technical constraints
  • Produce high-quality UI elements (HUD, interactive elements, LiveOps pop-ups, iconography)
  • Maintain and evolve style guides and UI libraries
  • Ensure visual consistency across all game features
