This role is full time in-office: Your impact: We are seeking a Senior UI Developer to join our growing engineering team, building the front-end experience for a sophisticated legal technology review platform. In this role, you will design and implement intuitive, high-performance interfaces used by legal professionals to manage and review complex document workflows. You will collaborate closely with product managers, UX designers, and backend engineers to deliver features that matter in high-stakes legal environments where precision and reliability are paramount.

Requirements

5+ years of professional experience in front-end or full-stack UI development
Expert-level proficiency in HTML5, CSS3, and modern JavaScript (ES6+)
Strong experience with Node.js, including building Express-based APIs or BFF (Backend for Frontend) services
Demonstrated ability to build complex, interactive UIs without heavy reliance on opinionated UI frameworks
Deep understanding of browser rendering, CSS layout models (Flexbox, Grid), and cross-browser compatibility
Experience with version control systems, particularly Git, in a collaborative team environment
Familiarity with CI/CD pipelines and deployment workflows
Strong verbal and written communication skills with the ability to explain technical concepts to non-technical stakeholders

Nice To Haves

Experience developing software within legal technology, document management, e-discovery, or compliance-driven environments.
Proficient with modern front-end frameworks such as React or Vue, including design systems and reusable component libraries.
Familiar with real-time collaboration technologies, including WebSockets and live data streaming implementations.
Knowledge of security-focused UI development and containerized deployment environments, including sensitive data handling, Docker, and Kubernetes.
