About The Position

Wells Fargo is seeking a Senior Trust Associate to provide operational support for fiduciary professionals in administering a book of complex fiduciary relationships. This role involves implementing client estate plans and ensuring client accounts are managed according to sound fiduciary principles and applicable law. The associate will develop and maintain a proficient understanding of basic fiduciary concepts, trust accounting, and the elements of a trust. Key responsibilities include executing client requests such as money movement and ongoing account management, developing in-depth knowledge of Wells Fargo Trust systems, and articulating Wells Fargo Trust's processes to internal partners. The role also requires a deep understanding of policies and procedures related to payments, account openings and closings, and asset transfers, along with strong organizational, time, and priority management skills to deliver high-quality work within deadlines. Identifying fiduciary risk and suggesting solutions, as well as seeking involvement in infrastructure projects to improve business operations, client service, and risk management, are also important aspects of this position. The Senior Trust Associate will independently communicate with internal partners regarding client accounts.

Requirements

  • 2+ years of administrative or sales support experience, or equivalent demonstrated through one or a combination of the following: work experience, training, military experience, education

Responsibilities

  • Lead operational support for fiduciary professionals to administer a book of complex fiduciary relationships.
  • Implement client estate plans.
  • Ensure client accounts are managed in accordance with sound fiduciary principles and applicable law.
  • Develop and maintain a proficient understanding of basic fiduciary concepts and principles, including trust accounting and elements of a trust.
  • Execute on client requests, including money movement and ongoing account management.
  • Develop and maintain an in-depth knowledge in the use of Wells Fargo Trust systems.
  • Articulate Wells Fargo Trust's processes to internal partners.
  • Develop and maintain an in-depth understanding of policies and procedures including, but not limited to, payments, account openings and closings, and asset transfers.
  • Demonstrate a high level of organizational skills, including time and priority management.
  • Deliver high-quality work-product within stated deadlines.
  • Identify fiduciary risk and suggest possible solutions.
  • Seek involvement with infrastructure-related projects to improve Wells Fargo Trust's business operations, client service, and risk management.
  • Independently communicate with internal partners regarding client accounts.
