About The Position

As a Senior Trial Attorney, you will manage litigation matters through trial, serve as lead counsel, and work closely with clients throughout the case lifecycle. The ideal candidate has a proven record of jury trial success, strong client communication skills, and the ability to excel within a collaborative, technology-driven legal environment.

Requirements

Juris Doctor (JD) from an accredited law school.
Active Illinois Bar license in good standing.
Personal Injury litigation experience required.
Minimum of five jury trials to verdict as lead or significant trial counsel.
Strong courtroom presence and trial advocacy skills.
Proficiency with legal technology, case management systems, and electronic litigation tools.
Strong client service, communication, and relationship-building abilities.

Nice To Haves

Experience handling plaintiff-side personal injury matters preferred.

Responsibilities

Manage personal injury litigation matters from case assignment through verdict or settlement.
Serve as lead trial counsel and represent clients in court proceedings.
Conduct depositions, mediations, arbitrations, and settlement negotiations.
Prepare and argue motions, discovery matters, and evidentiary issues.
Develop litigation strategy and evaluate case value and risk.
Maintain consistent client communication and provide case updates throughout litigation.
Collaborate with support staff and attorneys to maximize case outcomes.
Utilize legal technology and case management systems to efficiently manage files.
