About The Position

We are seeking a detail-oriented and technically skilled Senior Treasury Analyst to join our Futures and Cleared Derivatives team at RBC Capital Markets, LLC. This role supports our FCM operations across global markets while maintaining strict compliance with CFTC regulations. Develop deep expertise in a critical FCM function while upholding the highest compliance standards. Gain exposure to international market infrastructure, collateral management, and comprehensive regulatory frameworks across futures, cleared swaps, and secured lending.

Requirements

  • Bachelors degree in Finance, Accounting, Economics or equivalent.
  • 2-3 years of experience in Finance, Accounting, or Operations, including experience with treasury functions.
  • Advanced Excel proficiency (pivot tables, VBA macros, formulas, data modeling).
  • Familiarity with accounting software and treasury management systems.
  • Ability to analyze financial statements and data and identify any discrepancies or anomalies.
  • Familiarity with U.S. Regulatory standards.
  • Candidate will show strong interest in working in Treasury supporting the FCM.
  • Exceptional attention to detail, organizational skills, ability to manage priorities in a fast-paced environment.
  • Strong communication skills and comfortable working with international teams and clients.
  • Working knowledge of various derivates supporting the clearing the clearing function; Futures, Cleared Swaps, Credit Default Swaps, Options etc.

Nice To Haves

  • Preferably has an understanding of CFTC regulations governing U.S. derivatives markets.
  • Awareness of audit processes and regulatory documentation.

Responsibilities

  • Instruct movements of cash and non-cash collateral between RBC, CCPs, and clients across multiple jurisdictions and currencies.
  • Process customer money and collateral requests through third-party custodian banks, record transactions into RBC's back-office system, and coordinate collateral movements—including securities and other non-cash instruments—to meet margin requirements.
  • Perform various reconciliations, including reconciling trades, positions, money balances, margin calls and collateral.
  • Ensure adherence to CFTC Regulation 1.20 (customer fund segregation), Part 22 (OTC Cleared Swaps), Part 02 (House Funds), and Part 30.7 (Futures Secured Funds).
  • Aid internal audit requests including control evaluation, data analysis and reporting, reconciliations, and process support.
  • Ability to adapt and work on business initiatives /projects.
