Summary: Provides oversight for daily cash operations, including liquidity planning, cash position forecasting, bank account operations, and investment portfolio reporting and analysis.

Requirements

  • Requires critical thinking skills, excellent verbal and written communication skills, decisive judgment, and the ability to work with minimal supervision.
  • Must be able to adapt to a dynamic environment and prioritize effectively.
  • Proficiency in accessing and manipulating financial data from banking, credit card, investment management, and custodian platforms is essential.
  • Five (5) years of relevant experience including, at least, three (3) years in corporate finance or treasury functions, with demonstrated expertise in managing banking products, investments, and financial analysis.
  • Bachelors (Required)

  • Certified Treasury Professional (CTP) preferred

Responsibilities

  • Reviews investment accounts, prepares detailed investment analyses, and provides analysis and insights to support changes to investment portfolios.
  • Participates in special treasury projects and initiatives.
  • Assists the Finance department with various analyses and data to support the preparation of annual audited financial statements, related schedules, and footnotes.
  • Monitors and manages daily, monthly and annual cash position forecasts to optimize liquidity, excess cash and short-term borrowings.
  • Acts as a treasury liaison with the organization’s business units in setting up new banking accounts, services, and handling bank inquiries and related matters.
  • Responds to requests and provides analytical support to the organization’s business units for banking, custody, investment, and merchant services-related matters.
  • Monitors and makes decisions related to positive pay exceptions to ensure accurate and secure banking transactions.
  • Develops advanced financial models and analytics in Excel to support a variety of treasury-related activities.
  • Assists with presentation materials for reports to senior leadership.
  • Investigates banking and merchant services discrepancies.
