Requirements

Bachelor’s Degree in Civil Engineering or related field.
California Professional Engineer (PE) License.
12+ years of experience in transportation engineering design.
Familiarity with AutoCAD/Civil 3D and Microstation/Open Roads.
Ability to work efficiently to meet project budgets and schedules.
Ability to communicate effectively with clients, coworkers, sub consultants, agency review staff, and utilities.
Ability to compose concise technical reports, memorandums, and other written communication.
Ability to handle multiple concurrent projects.

Responsibilities

Planning and design of transportation projects including state highway work, interchanges, local roadways, multi-modal facilities, multi-use paths, complete streets, drainage systems, storm water management, and utility relocations.
Preparation of preliminary design and contract documents (PS&E).
Client and project management.
Working with state and local design standards.
Utilizing AutoCAD/Civil 3D, Microstation/Open Roads.
Strong capabilities in Microsoft Office Suite.
