Join PSE's Transmission Services Open Access Transmission Tariff (OATT) Administration team as a Senior Transmission Services Specialist and take on a leadership role in ensuring reliable electricity transmission across the Pacific Northwest. In this senior-level position, you'll oversee all phases of transmission and generator interconnection requests in alignment with PSE's OATT, handling moderately complex customer applications to meet regulatory deadlines and ensure compliance requirements are satisfied. As a seasoned professional, you'll provide support in researching, planning, developing and implementing PSE's Federal Energy Regulatory Commission (FERC) transmission and OATT compliance programs to ensure the company meets all regulatory requirements. Your expertise will be instrumental in mentoring teammates, developing comprehensive training programs, and analyzing federal regulatory policy to provide strategic advice to internal departments based on that analysis. This strategic role combines deep regulatory expertise with leadership responsibilities as you monitor and interpret applicable regulations, orders, and rules to provide input into federal and state rulemaking proceedings. You'll work with management, developing complete and executable plans while communicating complex regulatory proposals across the organization and aligning them with company objectives. Your advanced problem-solving skills will be essential as you support internal and external audits, implement corrective solutions, and manage multiple high-priority projects simultaneously. This role is ideal for an experienced transmission professional who thrives in a leadership capacity, enjoys mentoring others, and brings the drive and initiative to move complex work forward — while grounding that momentum in the rigor and attention to detail that regulatory compliance demands. If you want to make a significant strategic impact on energy infrastructure while advancing your career in transmission services and regulatory compliance at one of the Northwest's leading utilities, this is your opportunity. As a PSE employee you will uphold the safety compliance standards inherent in PSE’s operating and/or field procedures related to work responsibilities and promotes and supports a culture of total safety. You will demonstrate commitment to conduct business honestly, ethically and consistent with our core values and Code of Conduct and ensure duties are performed in accordance with all regulatory compliance obligations.
