Senior Transitions Specialist
About The Position
Caring Transitions is growing, and growing fast. We're building a highly-selective team of senior transitions specialists to support senior citizens with downsizing, decluttering and move management services in Snohomish county. This isn't a role for someone looking to punch a clock. We're looking for people who want to grow with this company, not just work for it. The Senior Transitions Specialist role is part of a team providing excellent customer service to Caring Transitions customers in Mill Creek, WA, and the surrounding areas. Within a customer’s house, you would be responsible for sorting, organizing, taking photos for online auctions, boxing items for pick up and shipping, and other similar activities. At Caring Transitions, no one is above the work. If donations need to be dropped off, supplies need to be hauled, or the trash needs to be taken out, you step in. Leadership here means rolling up your sleeves and taking initiative to complete daily tasks independently, often without direct supervision. This job offers a flexible schedule with a standard shift from 9am - 3:30pm (M-F).
Requirements
- High School diploma or equivalent training required
- Excellent problem solving and decision-making skills
- Teachable, focused and self-motivated
- Proactive by nature - always anticipating what the project needs
- Comfortable with everyday tech - iPhone, Mac, Google, and photo/note apps
- Outstanding customer service skills
- Professional attitude and demeanor
- Good hand-eye coordination
- Comfortable working in a fast paced environment
- Ability to interact productively with co-workers and function well in a team environment
- Valid driver's license and good driving record
Nice To Haves
- Experience in the fields of general labor or warehouse helpful
Responsibilities
- Greets clients with a smile, receives orders, processes payments and responds appropriately to customer issues
- Operates cash register or point of sale devices as needed
- Prompt and regular attendance on assigned shifts
- Communicates in a positive manner with clients, peers and Managers
- Provides exceptional customer service as you safely move, pack/unpack and stage/resettle client household items
- Other duties may be assigned as needed
