About The Position

Senior Training Program Specialist Senior Training Program Specialist Duties : Design and deliver a blended learning environment including e-learning, virtual training, and distance learning methods, classroom/instructor-led training, and on-the-job training/mentoring for PERI staff on PERI Group’s highly technical and proprietary products in the formwork, shoring, and scaffolding industry and PERI Group sales processes and procedures. Develop career development program plans, including but not limited to orientations, onboarding activities, trainings, job rotations, and general planning. Assist in the recruiting and future career placement of the career development program participants. Collaborate with cross-functional subject matter experts on other teams to determine scope, topics, and requirements for the training program. Administer the Learning Management System (LMS) with upcoming training classes and material. Engage with subject matter experts to create training slides and guides. Represent the Training team in meetings with business partners, leadership, and project teams. Collect feedback for trainings, on-boarding, the career development program and Sales boot camp (year-long onboarding program) and trainings while driving continuous improvement for the program and training initiatives. Develop or oversee the production of handouts, instructional materials, aids and manuals. Periodically evaluate the career development program, sales boot camp, and trainings to ensure that it achieves program goals and objectives. Create pre- and post-learning assessments to measure overall knowledge gain and areas of improvement. Assisting in the creation and tracking training key performance indicators (KPIs), and implementing improvements based on KPI results. Work from home permissible from within normal commuting distance of the office with weekly required onsite office days and onsite days for training sessions.

Requirements

  • Bachelor’s degree in Education, Construction Management, Project Management, Civil or Structural Engineering, Business or a closely related field.
  • 2 years of relevant professional experience, including each of the following: 2 years of experience in the formwork and scaffolding industry working directly with modular systems and construction applications; 2 years of experience in training, learning, and development; and, 2 years of experience in career development program design.
  • Alternatively, 4 years of relevant professional experience, including each of the following: 4 years of experience in the formwork and scaffolding industry working directly with modular systems and construction applications; 4 years of experience in training, learning, and development; and, 4 years of experience in career development program design.
