About The Position
NV5 is seeking a full-time Senior Traffic Engineer for the Cary, NC location. The major objectives or outcomes of position include: Manage and work on projects in the Traffic Services Group including traffic studies, due diligence analysis, signal warrant studies, bike/ped plans, corridor studies, parking plans, traffic signal design, signal timing, ITS, safety studies, traffic control plans, striping plans, and concept designs.
Requirements
- Bachelor’s Degree in Civil Engineering or Civil Engineering Technology
- Minimum of 10 years of directly related professional work experience
- PE required
- Excellent writing skills
- Intermediate level Microsoft Office
- Must possess or be able to obtain a valid driver’s license prior to employment

Responsibilities
- Interact with clients from project startup to completion.
- Complete and/or oversee projects on time, within budget, and of the highest quality.
- Prepare proposals and contracts.
- Meet with existing and potential clients and maintain positive client relationships.
- Represent NV5 at professional functions.
