The department participates in preferential programs designed to eliminate, reduce, or defer tariffs, including Duty Drawback and Free Trade Agreements, which require product qualification analysis, certification validation, and interaction with suppliers, outside vendors, and government agencies. The Senior Customs Administrator supports specific functions to maintain compliance with applicable laws and regulations and documents processes and procedures. This role requires continuous learning, consistent interaction with internal and external customers, the ability to solidify working knowledge of applicable regulations, and the ability to work independently while taking on increased responsibility.
