About The Position

Akira is seeking a Senior Threat-Warning Analyst (CTI Lead) to support the U.S. Army Reserve Command (USARC) in cyberspace operations supporting Army and joint requirements. This position will lead Cyber Threat Intelligence (CTI) activities focused on identifying, analyzing, and assessing cyber threats and adversary activity relevant to USARC networks and mission environments. The CTI Lead will translate intelligence into actionable information to support detection, investigation, and mitigation activities across the defensive cyberspace operations (DCO) mission. This is an onsite position at Fort Bragg, NC supporting a mission-focused U.S. Army Reserve Command cyberspace operations environment. The position requires working with classified information and supporting operational cybersecurity missions. The Senior Threat-Warning Analyst will serve as the CTI Lead, working closely with Blue Team and other DCO personnel to ensure relevant threat intelligence is rapidly translated into actionable information for the defense of Army networks.

Requirements

  • Minimum 5 years of documented specialized operational experience in cyber threat intelligence, threat analysis, intelligence analysis, or a related DoD/enterprise IT cybersecurity functional area.
  • Demonstrated experience conducting cyber threat analysis and producing intelligence products.
  • Experience analyzing adversary tactics, techniques, procedures, indicators, behaviors, and threat activity.
  • Experience supporting cybersecurity operations, a Security Operations Center (SOC), or defensive cyber operations environment.
  • Demonstrated ability to translate threat intelligence into actionable information for cyber defense teams.
  • Strong analytical, research, writing, and briefing skills.
  • Ability to assess complex threat information and communicate findings clearly to technical and Government stakeholders.
  • Ability to work effectively in a mission-focused, classified operational environment.
  • T5 investigation consistent with PWS requirements; TS/SCI eligibility/access when required by the assigned work role or network.
  • Ability to work onsite at Fort Bragg, NC and support operational requirements.

Nice To Haves

  • Experience supporting Army, Army Reserve, ARCYBER, or joint cyberspace operations.
  • Experience supporting Defensive Cyberspace Operations (DCO), Cyber Threat Intelligence (CTI), SOC, or Blue Team missions.
  • Experience with intelligence platforms, threat intelligence feeds, SIEM platforms, or other cybersecurity and intelligence-analysis tools.
  • Knowledge of MITRE ATT&CK, cyber kill chain methodologies, or similar adversary-analysis frameworks.
  • Experience developing indicators of compromise (IOCs), threat actor profiles, threat assessments, intelligence summaries, or cyber threat warnings.
  • Experience correlating threat intelligence with network, endpoint, and security-event data.
  • Experience supporting DoD cybersecurity assessments, incident response, or Cybersecurity Readiness Inspections (CCRI).
  • Relevant intelligence, cybersecurity, or CTI certifications are a plus.

Responsibilities

  • Lead Cyber Threat Intelligence (CTI) activities supporting the USARC DCO mission.
  • Collect, analyze, correlate, and evaluate cyber threat information relevant to supported USARC networks, systems, and mission environments.
  • Develop, maintain, and disseminate threat intelligence products, threat assessments, and threat-warning information.
  • Analyze adversary tactics, techniques, and procedures (TTPs), indicators, behaviors, and threat activity to identify relevant patterns and potential risks.
  • Correlate CTI with Blue Team operational findings, security alerts, network activity, and other cybersecurity data.
  • Support the identification, characterization, and assessment of emerging cyber threats and their potential impact on the supported enterprise.
  • Provide timely, actionable intelligence to Cyber Defense Analysts and other DCO personnel to support threat detection, investigation, containment, and mitigation.
  • Support the development and refinement of detection signatures, indicators, watchlists, and other defensive intelligence products.
  • Prepare threat assessments, intelligence reports, operational briefings, threat warnings, and other CTI deliverables.
  • Coordinate CTI activities with Blue Team personnel and other cybersecurity and DCO mission teams.
  • Provide timely notification and escalation of significant threat developments, emerging adversary activity, and intelligence findings through established procedures.
  • Support operational reporting and maintain accurate documentation of intelligence activities, findings, assessments, and disseminated products.
  • Maintain awareness of applicable DoD, Army, U.S. Army Cyber Command (ARCYBER), and supported Regional Cyber Center (RCC) intelligence and cybersecurity procedures, policies, and TTPs.
  • Support integration of threat intelligence into ongoing cybersecurity assessments and defensive cyber operations.
  • Perform other CTI and threat-analysis duties as required to support the USARC mission.
