The Senior Therapeutic Area Specialist (TAS) is a critical role in Bristol Myers Squibb's (BMS) customer model, aiming to deliver impactful engagement with Health Care Providers (HCPs) and drive the adoption of BMS medicines for appropriate patients. The primary responsibility of the TAS is to drive demand for BMS products within their portfolio. This involves engaging HCPs with a differentiated Customer Experience (Cx) through deeper scientific dialogue, leveraging new ways of working, and consistent with label information. The role focuses on building and maintaining strong professional credibility with regional thought leaders and community-based physicians, office staff, and other stakeholders in the patient care continuum. The TAS collaborates with other BMS functions to ensure a high overall Customer Experience (Cx) by meeting HCP needs in a timely and scientific manner. This role prioritizes the safe and appropriate use of BMS products while focusing on business results, performance objectives, and exemplifying BMS values. The TAS role is field-based, with an anticipated 100% of their time spent in the field with external customers.
